An energy audit of the Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) Hospice Center in July, 2003 identified an energy conservation measure consisting of an upgrade of the existing temperature control system with a direct digital temperature control system. The energy cost payback and return on investment to implement these measures are 1.9 years and 52.6%, respectively, which will result in a 32.2% reduction in energy costs.
